Project Administrator - Engineering Apprenticeship

JOB SUMMARY
Under supervision, provides support for engineering and operational activities, which can cover system applications, video and signal processing hardware, software and electrical systems. Monitors, enhances and troubleshoots systems in assigned areas. Provides basic Application administration of OSS applications supporting all Charter Residential Customer facing products.
Works closely with multiple teams to expedite resolution of customer escalations.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Advocates for the customer to get issues resolved and works with fix agents to facilitate resolution of escalated issues.

Performs basic troubleshooting on all supported products to isolate and resolve issues and escalate problem reports as necessary.

Work with multiple software engineering, operations and care teams in the support of Spectrum Branded products including Charter.NET, Spectrum mobile applications and Spectrum Guide products.

Facilitates the creation of work arounds, software tools and other fixes to drive root cause resolution for recurring issues.

Documents process flow and product support information as necessary.

Monitors and assists in managing applications, device availability, network conditions and status, system reliability and performance, service and program maintenance and storage resources.

Generates reports on product issue metrics, issue resolution, and customer experience metrics for the business as required.

Assists in monitoring and managing applications, device availability, network conditions and status, system reliability and performance, service and program maintenance.

Assists in enhancing, and improving applications which support, maintain, and help operated customer facing services and the team’s which support the service verticals.

Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
