Associate Asset Management Analyst

Primary Job Function:

Ensure procurement, deployment, control and compliance of hardware assets. Help facilitate hardware lifecycle management. Adhere to Abbott system policies and overall Abbott requirements. Ensure hardware asset inventory systems are maintained and accurate.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.

Responsible for assisting with implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the eWaste Program.  Responsible for analysis of asset data (software/hardware) to present to management.  Monitor incoming requests/work orders to ensure fulfillment in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor and review hardware and mobility compliance. Help facilitate adequate stock levels to ensure fulfillment in a timely manner. Perform work using existing standards, methodologies, and processes. Have a basic understanding of other systems/business processes relationship to each other.  Participate on IT projects as assigned. Provide metrics necessary to support hardware and mobility asset functions.

Position Accountability / Scope:

Serve as a team member; may also indirectly assist/guide contingent workers. Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures. Maintain productive relationships with peers, IT management, functional business areas, and external partners. Work under supervision of more experienced analysts. Regular assignments are completed with minimal supervision. Work is reviewed for overall accuracy, completeness, and soundness of business processes. Has input to decisions that impact task level activities. Medium complexity work. Errors or failure to achieve expected results may result in the expenditure of more resources than was planned or could have an indirect impact on compliance.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Minimum Experience / Training Required

1-2 years of experience

 Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting hardware and mobility compliance.

 Knowledge in the use of the entire Microsoft Office suite.

 Excellent Customer Service and support skills.

 Knowledge in records keeping, statistical analysis, reporting, and asset lifecycle.

 Knowledge of asset operating systems, application support

 Knowledge and understanding of process flow and inventory system functionality.
