Assoc. Analyst/Analyst/Sr Analyst - Account Maintenance & Operations

Description About the Position: The successful candidate will take responsibility for specific business process management including delivering process improvements within our end-to-end processes and support the overall quality & performance excellence strategy. The role involves working with the Account Maintenance and Operations teams to establish documented, repeatable, accurate and efficient processes through identifying key performance indicators, business procedures and system technology requirements for delivering timely, accurate and professional services . Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Project and Program Management by facilitating teams on small to medium business processes to drive quality and value. Responsible for assessing, testing and establishing repeatable and efficient processes.. Evaluates ways to standardize and document process improvement opportunities. Monitors metrics, procedures and processes to reduce risk and provide recommendations to enhance performance. Reviews and assists in the development of process standards, job aids and process flow documentation. Partners with various Process Improvement leads to design projects and accurately maps &documents supporting process flows. Prepares presentations and leads process discussions in a cross-functional environment. Responsible for analyzing data, preparing reports and identifying process efficiency recommendations. Partners with Meter to Cash departments (Call Center, CMS, Collections, Payment Processing) and other business process related partners as required. Applies change management techniques to analyze impact of changes and create a change plan to assist in successful process implementation. Responsible for supporting financial and non-financial controls to meet business requirements. Qualifications Knowledge & Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, finance, business, or technology discipline from an accredited college or university. 2-4 years utility industry experience. Ability to analyze, query and report on data; database tool experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to drive process enablement and/or planning. Experience in process evaluation and change management. Proven experience managing risks and issues. Effective collaboration and partnership capabilities. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written / oral communication skills, follow-up, and negotiation skills. Travel is required for this position within the State of Mass, NY and RI.
