This position is the chief administrator in the Office of Residential Services and provides significant support to the Office of Student Conduct. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students, the Director provides leadership in the visioning, goal setting, and implementation of quality programs and practices which create healthy living/learning residential communities. The Director has primary responsibility for the overall management of facilities and program for 1,950 students and directs the administrative operation, financial affairs, and programmatic initiatives of the office. The Director also serves as a primary conduct officer for the College and will assist the Student Conduct Officer in developing a plan for implementing restorative practices across residential communities. The Director is an integral member of a collaborative student affairs staff serving as a representative of the Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students with students and their families.
Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, or related field required and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in housing/residence life/student conduct or related student affairs areas.
