Our Information Technology Team collaborates across organizational boundaries and with external partners, focusing on innovative solutions to exceed our customers’ needs.  We are currently seeking upcoming college graduates for our Entry-Level North America Information Technology College New Hire program.  Identified candidates will start between February – June 2018 dependent upon graduation date. 

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Assistant Analyst I, are to:

 

  • Partner with experienced team members and other interns to contribute to meaningful assignments. Depending on your assignment, you could have an opportunity to engage in software development, operational support, project management, or in new technologies like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, or digital technology while delivering innovative solutions;
  • Participate in a defined business assignment with a clear objective;
  • Collaborate across our organization to provide real solutions to business problems;
  • Drive results by demonstrating the appropriate sense of urgency and working closely with his/her Team Lead and/or Manager to prioritize and organize his workload;
  • Responsibilities may include engaging in software development, operational support, project management, or in new technologies like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, or digital technology while delivering innovative solutions.

 

Through our one year college new hire rotational program, you will grow as an individual by participating in two rotational assignments (6-9 months each).  Rotations may require temporary relocation to a different Bayer U.S. facility; with the goal of developing and challenging you for positions of greater responsibility and leadership.  After your rotations conclude, you will join your final team as a confident and productive IT practitioner with a solid network established.  Final assignments could be based in any one of our U.S. based Bayer facilities.

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values.  More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s OR Master’s degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors, OR 2 + years of equivalent work experience in IT;
  • Willingness and flexibility to relocate or travel to other Bayer sites during a  rotational assignment;
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally as required;
  • US Citizen/US Permanent Resident.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous IT related work experience a plus, including at least one internship experience;
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 is preferred (GPA must be stated on the resume/unofficial transcripts upon initial application) to demonstrate applicable knowledge of educational degree.
