Marketing leads the development of integrated marketing strategies across Wells Fargo's 90 plus business lines and national geography. The group is responsible for brand strategy and advertising, database and experiential marketing including the company's 12 history museums, integrated program and product development, market research and related customer analytics, and diverse segments strategy and business development.
The newly formed Marketing Insights & Analytics team will build a best-in class decision support organization that can provide insights to inform our business/customer marketing and product strategy, as well as our broader Wells Fargo strategic initiatives. Marketing Measurement is a critical team within the Marketing Insights & Analytics team that is responsible for understanding the performance of marketing campaigns in online and offline channels. In addition, the team is responsible for analyzing and establishing the cumulative impact of all marketing efforts short-term and long-term.
As part of the Targeting Models team in Marketing Measurement, this position will be responsible for tracking model performance, identifying opportunities for business growth, performing segmentation/profile analysis, and optimizing direct acquisition targeting strategy for business partners with insights and recommendations. The person in this position should be an expert in aggregating data from various sources using SAS/SQL and performing exploratory data analysis. He/she should also be comfortable developing linear and logistic regression models and validating models on hold-out samples. Other responsibilities include performing customer segmentation and reporting, designing campaign tests and validating results, evaluating potential data sources and opportunities for additional statistical models, and interpreting and presenting results and recommendations to management.
The individual we are looking for must possess excellent analytical skills with a background in applied statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics to identify profitable customer segments, optimize channels, identify predictive characteristics & critical attributes, and expand and grow our marketing opportunities. We are looking for a talented individual who is a team player, fast learner, and who can effectively consult with various product groups, marketing and risk partners as well as work with a high performing team of analysts to meet deadlines and project timelines.
