Eastdil Secured is seeking Intern Analysts. Opportunities exist in New York, Santa Monica,Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Irvine, Boston, and San Francisco based on candidate preference and business need. Interns receive a comprehensive professional and educational experience through on-the-job learning and practice by working alongside team members who are experts in the real estate field.


Interns assume significant responsibilities that may include:

  • Working closely with senior team members on presentations, financial analysis and underwriting.
  • Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis.
  • Preparing presentations and other materials for clients.
  • Due diligence collection and review.
  • Creating pitches, proposals, and marketing materials.

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Other Desired Qualifications

Interns must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. It is strongly preferred that your background includes:

  • A current undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree with coursework in financial accounting, finance and/or real estate with an estimated graduation date of May 2018.
  • Prior internship/exposure to commercial real estate, investment banking, or involvement in a real estate club or organization.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, modeling, and underwriting.
  • High academic achievement and distinction.
  • Dedication to building a career in the real estate industry.
  • Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative, and team environment
  • Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • An individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.
