Administrative Assistant 3 (SBA Lending)

Job Description

Wells Fargo Small Business Administration Lending (WFSBA) has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant 3 supporting our Northeast Sales Region.

This role will perform moderately complex to complex administrative tasks supporting the SBA Northeast Regional Sales Team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to prepare correspondences, presentations and marketing materials
  • Compiling information and preparing routine reports
  • Assisting with routine personnel/payroll processing and record keeping
  • Responding to routine questions relative to departmental policies and procedures
  • Professional telephone communication skills are vital to resolve both internal and external customer service needs
  • Supporting the business line staff on reporting, customer/business documentation, and sales and service goals
  • Routine reconciliation of general ledger and/or expense accounts
  • Complete special projects independently

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative support experience

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Knowledge and understanding of sales support or client support
  • Business banking experience
  • Ability to manage changing travel itineraries, accurately manage expense reimbursement, manage a busy calendar and appointments flawlessly
  • Ability to prepare sales reports for management
