What part will you play?  
The Ad Product Manager is responsible for managing life cycle of the Turner's existing and emerging advertising products leveraging data and targeting capabilities within Turner, external vendors, and ecosystem partners. The candidate for this position must possess understanding of the advertising technology and ecosystems for both linear TV and digital advertising. In this role, the candidate will collaborate with talented teams from Engineering, TDC (Turner Data Cloud), Innovation team, Ad Platform, Ad Operations, Yield, Account Service, Revenue Analytics, Product Strategy, Product Management, and Sales organizations. The candidate will focus on planning and launching new advertising features and products maximizing data, targeting, and analytics. This position reports to the VP of Ad Product Management.
What will you be doing?  
Product Requirements
  • Gather and create market data and requirements to support the strategy for enhanced versions of existing products and new products
  • Draft customer and market driven requirements into concise and clear product definitions using business intelligence and market analysis
  • Assist with the cross-functional buy-in of marketing requirements and product Requirements
  • Collaborate with Marketing to translate product features into customer value propositions; create messaging and go-to-market documents (product white papers, one-sheets, presentations, and other marketing collateral)
  • Train Sales and Ops teams on new products, and participate in the sales process as required
  • Team with Activation and Account Service to manage campaign management and stewardship
Product Strategy and Planning
  • Help to identify new opportunities and support Sales to meet financial targets
  • Help define a coherent product vision and strategy, value proposition, use cases, and positioning for each product
  • Help to identify and develop strategic relationships that support product development goals. Competitive, Technology and Market
Research & Analysis
  • Research target markets and emerging technologies
  • Research the competition and perform competitive product benchmarking and feature analysis
  • Establish efficient feedback processes to gather developer and end-user feedback from Sales, Account Service and Developer Support teams, customers, industry partners, and user surveys
What do we require from you?

Education & Experience
  • BS/BA degree required; computer science/engineering degree (or equivalent experience) a plus
  • MBA degree is a plus
  • 5 years of increasing responsibility in advertising, big data, Internet or content services product management, or product marketing
  • Experience in advertising, data & targeting, broadcasting or OTT service industries
  • Experience in consulting services supporting customers in advertising, data & targeting, broadcasting or OTT service industries
  • Experience in TV or broadcasting market and app development or supporting customers who develop product for TV or broadcasting markets
Skills & Knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and present professional, effective presentations for business and technical audiences
  • Market analysis and business modeling; competitive analysis and report generation
  • Data mining and analytics, trend analysis, market and financial forecasting
  • Knowledge and experience of using BI tools like Looker and Tableau
  • Knowledge of audience measurement, advertising, Smart TV, broadcast markets, digital media, Internet services, interactive/social media applications is preferred
  • Knowledge of entertainment media metadata and information architecture principles is preferred
