Account Executive Commercial 3, International

Job Description

Responsible for the management and service of complex commercial international property and casualty accounts. Work at a strategic level to develop and retain consultative, partnership relationships with customers/ prospects. Develop, execute and monitor comprehensive customer service plans that reflect the customer's international business and risk management goals. Responsible for marketing international insurance programs, including advising customers regarding renewals, country specific insurance requirements and strategies, and recommending coverage/ products/risk control approaches. Communicates with, services and provides comprehensive account support to assure customer needs are met. Contributes to new business development, identifies cross-sell opportunities and may seek referrals from existing customers.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of insurance experience

Desired Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial insurance experience
  • Experience managing international commercial insurance accounts
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and prospects
  • Experience effectively marketing to carriers and customers
  • Experience managing the largest and most complex commercial property and casualty accounts
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with international brokers
  • Experience in insurance underwriting or brokering international business
Job Expectations

  • Designated insurance license requirements must be completed within 180 days of hire date. Compliance with state law requirements is required.
